The New Zealand - Turkey Network (NZTN) [Te honoa o Aoteoroa me Whenua Korukoru] is an organisation of Christians in New Zealand (NZ) who love and pray for Turkey. We have no stated denominational affiliation or attachment to any specific overseas workers but seek to network with others sharing a love for Turkey and desiring to introduce Turks to the person of Jesus Christ.

The NZTN was inaugurated on 10-11 November 2000 at a national conference in Auckland. We are a group of people who choose to network to support the
work of NZ workers/sending agencies seeking to reach Turkish people. We are interdenominational and do not seek to promote any one person or agency.
Thus, in "Turkish terms" we seek to promote "Protestant" partnerships.
We seek to raise awareness of and interest in Turkey amongst NZ believers and endeavor to build relationships between individuals, local churches
and those sending agencies focused on Turkey.
Additionally we facilitate links with networks in other countries in order to maintain a global perspective.
Whilst we do not attempt to provide an exhaustive list of links with other web sites of interest and resources (books, videos, music and tours), for those
interested, please go to our Links or Resources pages. Also we do have other information on Turkey
and current events there, some of which are shared through our newsletter or emails to members, as well as specific material of interest to prospective
workers on application.

Most of our communication to supporters is by email. Other news is shared at various national or regional conferences and prayer groups. The NZTN
newsletter is regularly distributed to members. If you are not on our mailing list and are interested in Turkey and would like further information on

Enquirers maybe referred to one or more sending agencies in NZ or onto appropriate Network members for follow-up.
